Senior R&D Chemist
An interesting role has come to light for a Senior R&D Chemist based at a growing adhesives manufacturer in the Cheshire area. As Senior R&D Chemist you will be responsible for driving innovative projects to develop new and existing products. You will also be responsible for dealing with suppliers and customers to ensure the best profits are achieved.
As Senior R&D Chemist you will have previous experience formulating and scaling up polymeric materials – specifically within the adhesives sector. You will also have a HND and above in Chemistry or a relevant field.
A driving license is required due to elements of travel within the position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new adhesives in line with market trends.
- Deliver R&D roadmap.
- Test raw materials.
- Speak directly with suppliers and customers.
- Liaise with sales to support customers.
- Provide leadership within the laboratory.
- Be accountable for your own projects and be results focused.
Key Requirements:
- HND and above in a scientific discipline.
- Previous experience in new product development.
- Previous experience in formulating polymers.
- Previous experience scaling up batches.
- Driving license is required.
