Science Solutions are looking to recruit a Regulatory Specialist on behalf of one of our clients in the Merseyside area. This role is initially going to be based on a 12 month fixed term contract with a potential to go permanent dependent on performance.
To be considered for the role of Regulatory Specialist you must have previous experience in a role working to CLP, food contact, BPD and REACh regulations.
As a Regulatory Specialist you will be responsible for providing regulatory support ensuring that all applicable regulatory requirements are fulfilled and maintained to support new & existing technologies.
Role requirements
- Degree educated in Chemistry, Toxicology, Materials Science or a similar field.
- Previous working experience with food contact legislation, CLP, BPD (Biocidal Products Directive) and REACh.
- Previous experience in compiling dossiers for submissions to either EFS or FDA.
- Good understanding of analytical chemistry techniques is also advantageous.
- Experience in using Materials Safety Data Sheets too.
Role responsibilities
- Assisting in addressing legislative developments and supporting the regulatory manager as and when required.
- Interpreting and reviewing analytical data and toxicological data with regard to suitability for use of chemicals in food contact applications.
- Managing data and supporting regulatory coordinator with the generation of MSDS.
- Liaise with customers on a daily basis and produce any documentation as required.
